Kolkata, 08 December: IN a move that will allow Bengal government employees enjoy a three-day holiday at a stretch, the state government has rescheduled the holiday for Fateha-Doaz-Daham.
According to a notification issued by the state finance department today, the holiday for Fateha-Doaz-Daham would now be on 12 December Monday, instead of 13 December, as was notified earlier.
The holiday, which is applicable for all offices of the state government including educational institutes, will facilitate a three-day off duty to the employees over the week end. This because, being Saturday and Sunday, respectively, state government will anyway remain closed on 10 and 11 December.
